Case Coordinator Position in the Health and Care Administration

The position is located within the Health and Care Administration, which is one of eight administrations in Linköping Municipality. The Health and Care Administration is responsible for the municipality's elderly care, health care, regulatory activities, ordering of services, and provides care and support in its own right. Your Responsibilities

As a case coordinator, you will play a central role in our information management. You will work with:

  • Managing the release of public documents, including confidentiality assessments.
  • Preparing deliveries to the municipality's city archive.
  • Working with information management plans.
  • Providing support, guidance, and answering questions from employees regarding information management.
  • Training employees on archive issues, record-keeping, public access, and confidentiality.
  • Assisting in the work of digitizing work methods.
  • Participating in the transition to e-archives in collaboration with other professionals.
  • Monitoring developments in document management, archives, and other relevant legislation.

You are expected to take responsibility for your work and drive your processes forward.

Your Workplace

The Health and Care Administration provides elderly care under municipal management in Linköping. There are approximately 1200 permanent employees and a large number of substitutes. Linköping Municipality has a long and well-established experience in providing care and support for our elderly residents.

Your workplace will be part of the Office and Communication unit, which consists of 13 employees and serves as a support function for the administration. The unit is responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, including record-keeping, archiving, strategic communication, and security issues. We offer a flexible work environment with office hours and flexible working agreements, as well as the opportunity to be part of a new and growing administration.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in areas such as registration, archiving, information, law, public administration, or political science, or other education that the employer deems relevant. Previous experience in public service and work with public access and confidentiality as well as archiving is an advantage. In this position, you will act as administrative support for the administration and come into contact with citizens via functional mailboxes, which requires good knowledge of Swedish both orally and in writing. You have a genuine interest in archive and document management.

We see that you are self-sufficient and meticulous, and you plan, organize, and prioritize your work independently and effectively. As a person, you easily adapt to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes. Working towards goals and focusing on results is natural for you, and you have the ability to tailor your message to the recipient as well as a strong understanding of people's different conditions. Furthermore, you understand the professional aspects of the work and maintain your knowledge, which you are happy to share with others.
